πŸš€ Rate

Clicking the above button will direct you to the YouTube thumbnail rating page. Once you have arrived on the rating, you can beging providing feedback to other users' Youtube thumbnails, and earning Vibe Points.

You must answer honestly and thoughtfully to avoid triggering the anti-spam filter. Leaving a helpful comment about what you think about the YouTube thumbnail helps. Users who answer honestly and thoughtfully are ranked by PicVibe's AI system, and are prioritised over less-helpful members. While prioritised, your YouTube thumbnails will be shown to users with a track record of helpfulness.

Should a user be detected rating YouTube thumbnail tests too quickly, or thoughtlessly, their Vibe Points will be set to 0 without prior warning. Further failure to operate ethically on the site may result in a user being banned permanently, or shadow-banned.

What Each Rating Metric Means

PicVibe's YouTube thumbnail tests are broken down between three metrics, and an optional comment

The three metrics are:

  • Eye-catching
  • Understandable
  • Interesting

Eye-catching YouTube thumbnails are those that immediately grab the viewer's attention. A user is quickly captivated by an eye-catching thumbnail and is especially drawn to one or many interesting features of the thumbnail. Thumbnails that are eye-catching are usually bold, bright, or include some kind of eye-contact from a person within the thumbnail.

Understandable YouTube thumbnails convey a clear message to the audience. A user can quickly understand what to expect from a YouTube video with an understandable thumbnail. They are usually simple, without a great deal of text, and display an image representing a core idea within the video. An understandable thumbnail usually can explain the content of the video without the need of the YouTube video title.

Interesting YouTube thumbnails make the audience want to click and discover more. An intersting thumbnail is often thought-provoking, and does not reveal the entire content of the video. An interesting thumbnail will leave the user wondering about what they will discover by watching your video.

Adding Thoughtful and Meaningful Feedback

You should take your time when rating other users YouTube thumbnails on PicVibe. Not only will you be genuinely helping someone who wants to improve their YouTube thumbnails, but you will reduce the risk of activating the spam filter and losing your Vibe Points.

Users who provide thoughtful and meaningful feedback on PicVibe, are rewarded by being prioritised when creating their own YouTube thumbnail tests. Prioritised users' thumbnails are shown to other users with a track record of helpfulness on the platform. In turn, thoughtful and helpful users get better quality ratings and feedback on their YouTube thumbnails.

When rating a YouTube thumbnail on PicVibe, you have the option of leaving an insightful comment along with your rating metrics. Comments are well-received by users testing their YouTube thumbnails.

How to Avoid the Spam Filter

To avoid the spam filter, ensure that you are rating YouTube thumbnail tests honestly and thoughtfully. If you take your time and add a comment to your Thumbnail ratings, you are sure to avoid the spam filter. However, if you post irrelevant or otherwise unhelpful / offensive comments to other users' YouTube thumbnail tests, they may report you and trigger the spam filter.

Users who alert the spam filter may have their Vibe Points reset to 0 without warning. Serious offenses may result in a user's account being banned, or shadow-banned without notice.
